Unwanted Christmas Presents Top £1.2bn!

One thing I do when buying Christmas presents is to try and think carefully about what I'm buying as I hate waste. I also don't like buying people Christmas presents that people don't like. If you're buying for a women and you get it wrong most of them will think (and I've seen it in their eyes) "they obvisously don't know me well enough".

Don't fall into the trap of buying people presents that you want the other person to have. Last year I bought my other-half a pink gardening set. Its still in it's packaging and is sat nicely in the shed - she may get it again next year ;-)

But a survey last year said that a stagering $1.2bn is spen each year on Christmas presents the recipient just didn't want - that totals a staggering £20 each!

It appeads like half of younger people would consider selling their unwanted Christmas presents, however, 4% said they would simply throw them away according to a recent survey.

We've got some tips to help you have a more cost-effective Christmas:
* Don't Buy Rubbish
* Budgets and Saving Money
* Last Christmas Delivery Dates
