Many people think being a vegan is about eating boring food but sometimes its a moral or medical situation. But it doesn't stop with food, it also often encompases not buying products where animals have been harmed.

VeganStore has a selection of footwear that no only aren't made from animals that have been harshly treated, but also in factories where the workforce haven't been exploited (if you're a Marxist you could say all workers are exploited).

Fionas Shop is a brilliant online store that allows you to filter products from Organic, Vegan, Fairtrade or Gluten Free products. But it was the massive selection of chocolate that got me salivating the most!


The Vegetarian shop has a good selection of health and beauty products, as well as other stuff, that should prove to be a nice, orginal gift that would be so much better than just walking into Boots and picking up the first thing you've found!

Naturally Good Food has a pretty fantastic selection of organic chutneys and pickles! I'd plump for (if anyone wants to send me some) the red onion marmalade.

Marshford have a good selection of Organic Wines to choose from. I'd have to go for the The Ruins Pinotage Rose as its from South Africa.
